This policy sets out how Kickstart Bootcamp Limited (alternatively “we”, "our", and “us”) process any personal data we collect from you once provided to us through our website and when joining our course in compliance with the UK Data Protection Act (DPA) and EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. Please read the following carefully to understand how and when we store any data you provide us. When you sign up for our course, we collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, home address, device IP address and other details necessary to provide our services. This is provided by you when completing the application form online or in person, when making payments to us through our bank, and when sending this to us via text or email or any other method of communication.


Use of Cookies

Our website only uses necessary cookies within the password protected portal accessed by paying users. Not the publicly accessible pages, such as this one. These cookies are essential for the website to function properly, for security of our service and to provide you with a good user experience. These cookies are not used for marketing and advertising purposes.


Use of Information

We use the information provided to us when you register for the course to match and process payments made to us through our bank or payment provider, keep track of the number of students on a specific course and monitor student progress. We may keep this data for the security and safety of our students, staff, and the public. We may also keep this data for the protection of our property and protection against fraud. This is also kept for a maximum of three years after completion of the course so that we can provide you or a potential employer with a confirmation of attendance to the course when applying for a job, if requested to do so. We will only retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it is collected. However, we respond to a request for erasure without undue delay, at the latest within one month, letting you know whether we have erased the data requested, or that we have refused your request for reasons presented in the Data Protection Act such as those given in the "When Do We Share Your Data" section below. These reasons include but are not limited to reporting illegal activity or crime such as theft, damage of property, and fraud.


When Do We Share Your Data

We do not market or sell any data you provide us with to a third party. However, we have the right to share your data to the local authority, police, our bank and our insurance provider if needed. Such as when illegal activity, or a crime, is committed. We have the right to withhold and share this data in compliance with UK law, including the Data Protection Act. We also have the right to refuse erasure of your data to comply with any legal obligation, or the performance of a task carried out in the public interest, and for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. However, please be aware that no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its security. We also have no control over the security of your device and network. This is your own responsibility and any data shared is at your own risk. Electronic data sent to us through our website or email is stored on UK and EU Servers with appropriate security measures in place to protect it.
